Founded in 1999, Artisans Angkor’s mission is to revive traditional Khmer craftsmanship and provide sustainable employment for Cambodian artisans. This initiative arose to counteract the cultural losses caused by the Khmer Rouge and years of conflict. By preserving Cambodia’s rich heritage, Artisans Angkor also contributes to national economic development.
Artisans Angkor specializes in traditional crafts such as silk weaving, stone carving, wood carving, and lacquerware—skills passed down through generations. Our training programs ensure mastery of these ancient techniques while fostering creativity and innovation.
