About Singapore Plastic Industry Association
Established in 1989, the Singapore Plastic Industry Association (SPIA) is the unified representative body for Singapore's plastic industry. Its membership spans multinational corporations and local enterprises across the entire plastics value chain—from manufacturers and processors to raw material suppliers, machinery providers, and service companies. SPIA promotes Singapore as a regional plastics hub.
SPIA represents members' interests to government agencies, organizes business promotion programs, and serves as an industry information resource. It is governed by a Board of 16 elected directors, elected once every four years at the Annual General Meeting, with day-to-day running handled by an Executive Director.
