About Metro Farm Pte Ltd
Metro Farm Pte Ltd is an urban rooftop farm in Singapore that transforms rooftops, car parks and underutilised spaces into urban farms. Its flagship rooftop farm is located on Level 7 of the Downtown East Pasir Ris multi-storey carpark, growing pesticide-free leafy greens. The farm reports 30,120 square feet of urban farmland and 100 T single-batch harvest capacity, with a 23-day seed-to-table cycle for leafy greens.
Metrofarm supplies fresh greens through daily direct B2B deliveries to kitchens and community tables, and offers grow kits for sunflower and microgreens. It runs an Aquaponics Learning Enterprise (ALE) at Temasek Polytechnic's Applied Science Block 8A, employs Singaporeans across cultivation, IoT maintenance, logistics and hospitality, and developed automated valve networks and solar infrastructure under a joint research grant with the Singapore Institute of Technology, serving as a precedent case study for the Singapore Food Agency's 30-by-30 programme.
